DealRoom Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-07-19

These terms describe how to use DealRoom. We wrote them in plain language — if anything is unclear, email us and we'll explain.

1. Who we are and what DealRoom is

DealRoom (the “Service”) is operated by Infinity Team. Contact: contact@infinityteam.io.

DealRoom is an information and communication platform. It lets startups hold public conversations (“rooms”) about a round they are raising, and lets verified investors take part in those conversations and publicly signal interest.

The Service currently runs as a demo: the startups, investors and conversations shown are fictional, and anything you enter is not stored on our servers. See the “About the demo” page for details.

2. What DealRoom does NOT do

This is the most important section, so it comes early:

  • We do not broker offerings or sales of financial instruments and we do not accept subscriptions for shares.
  • We do not receive, hold or transfer funds. No investment payments pass through the Service.
  • We do not provide investment advice and we do not issue investment recommendations. Content in the Service consists of user statements.
  • We do not verify the accuracy of information published by startups (metrics, projections, round details). Investment decisions and due diligence remain with the investor.

Any transaction, if it happens, is concluded outside the Service, directly between the parties and on terms they agree.

3. Who may use the Service

The Service is for adults with full legal capacity. Browsing public rooms requires no account.

Publishing content requires an account and the relevant role: a founder may post in their own startup's room, and an investor after verification. Verification is invite-based and covers identity and investment experience.

We may refuse or withdraw verification if the information provided proves untrue or the user breaches these terms.

4. User-published content

Room conversations are public — visible to every visitor, including signed-out ones, and may be indexed by search engines. By publishing content you agree to it being public.

By publishing, you confirm you have the right to do so and that the content infringes no third-party rights or laws.

In particular you may not publish:

  • confidential information you are not authorised to disclose,
  • unlawful, abusive or discriminatory content, or content inciting violence,
  • third-party personal data without a legal basis,
  • spam, off-topic advertising, or content misleading others about the round or the company's condition.

You keep the rights to your content. You grant us only a free licence to store and display it within the Service, to the extent needed to operate it.

5. Interest signals and the ranking (“The Board”)

Marking interest and claiming the lead-investor seat are public declarations by a user. They are not offers, investment commitments or binding promises — they are informational.

Ranking positions are computed automatically under the published rules (early interest, leading a round, founder endorsements). We may change the scoring rules, announcing changes in the Service.

Ranking positions cannot be bought and we do not offer them for sale.

6. Moderation and reporting

Report breaches to contact@infinityteam.io. We review reports without undue delay.

We may remove content or restrict access to an account that breaches these terms or the law. We inform the user of the decision with reasons, and it can be appealed to us by the same route.

7. Liability

The Service is provided as-is. We work to keep it running correctly but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, particularly during the demo and beta phases.

We are not responsible for users' investment decisions or for content published by other users. We are not responsible for consequences of a user disclosing information they meant to keep private — rooms are public by design.

These limitations do not exclude liability where the law does not permit exclusion, in particular towards consumers.

8. Changes and termination

We announce changes to these terms in the Service and, for account holders, by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after they take effect means acceptance.

You may leave at any time by deleting your account or emailing contact@infinityteam.io. Content previously published in public rooms may be retained where needed to keep an archived conversation coherent — on request we will remove your personal data from it.

9. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Polish law. We aim to resolve disputes amicably.

Consumers may use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including the European Commission's ODR platform.
